@Larrybbb the ”like” button is not working (for me) again, but the ”share” does.
and i am awaiting the ”Sound of the Trumpet!”

    @RandyCummings Thanks for the […]

    • @Larrybbb I hope were ready, but I sure would love to hear the trumpet

@Brian Keep in mind I always call myself a ”newbie” but, I know, In the old days of fire and brimstone, preachers would tell you the trumpet could sound at any time, you better be ready, I guess you are saying that God will wait until each of us is ready?

      • Oh Yeah, and since I didn’t write this on facebook, I don’t expect anyone will ever see it :(

  • Just bringing in some comments from Facebook :)

@RandyCummings That is what I commented on her last article, WOW, I haven’t had a chance to read this […]

  • Roger Venne  read your "poison" post. The only reason I even put the Romans 14 scripture was cause somebody else used them to make a point and it ended up getting twisted. I’m not too sure how not making someone stumble applies to that chapter. The verses that really stuck out to me on that subject [...]

    • @Roger.Venne, Yeah, I saw that girl from New Spring’s comment on facebook, she was on a rant and I figured that your post was a response, then when I started reading your post I ended up on a rabbit trail of my own.

As far as stumbling: Paul says: It is good neither to eat meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles or is…[Read more]

    • Back to the stumbling, I think you have helped me find the key to what confused me about the last half of Romans 14. I missed the word ”brother”, I was thinking about strangers on street and non Christian acquaintances that are easily offended.

Hey Everyone…We deactivated the Facebook ’plugin’ because FB keeps changing and it is too time consuming trying to keep the FB login feature functioning here. The Facebook avitars are gone now, but now that FB login is turned off, the avitar feature here is working.
If you have any trouble logging in lets us know.

    • I tried to login with my username with my facebook password and it didn’t work, so I went through the lost password process, it worked perfectly.

Then at my profile/settings I changed the crazy password this site gave me.

I changed my profile picture too, it was way easier than facebook.

  • Read Chapter 1 at least 3 times. (I hear the groaning!) Or, was that just me I heard? But doing that really does focus your thought process…at least it does mine. Feel free to use commentaries or explanatory notes for the rest the study. Just let everybody know what or who you are referring to, [...]

Here are some points to ponder, while reading the book the second and third times. They are just to get us going. This is NOT a test! Please feel free to share your thoughts and/or questions with the group. Ignore chapter breaks as much as possible and any “subject headings” your version may have. From reading the [...]

We have read that a good way to start studying Revelation is to read the entire book of Revelation at least three times. One of these times — preferably the first — read the entire book in one sitting. The book is surprisingly short; this may take 45 minutes to an hour. Do not look at [...]

  • We don’t keep His Commandments in order to be saved, nor do we keep them out of a sense of fear. We keep His Commandments out of love for Him, faith in His goodness, and a reliance that HIS WAYS are above our ways.

  • ”The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all t come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

  • ”Therefore the Lord longs (waits) to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice, how blessed are all those who long (wait) for Him. Isaiah 30:18

  • ”With all my heart I have sought Thee; do not let me wander from Thy commandments. Thy word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against Thee.” Ps 119:10,11

  • Hopefully GodStuff will be an online community where we can talk about God, the Bible, religion, truth… That’s the beginning line in the ‘About’ page. I’ve been thinking about doing this for so long now, I’m having trouble getting my thoughts out in a readable and sensible manner. So, I’m gonna just leave it like [...]
